Current limitations or workarounds
Card links and nested links
When Add Link is enabled for an entire card, avoid adding separate links to elements inside that card, such as the image, heading, or button.
HTML does not support links nested inside other links, so using both a card-level link and an inner-element link can cause unexpected rendering or layout issues.
Workaround: Use either:
- a link on the entire card, or
- individual links on elements within the card.
Do not use both at the same time.
Editing Navigation in the Global Content Editor
When editing the Navigation module within HubSpot's Global Content Editor, clicking directly on the Navigation module in the preview may not open its settings.
Workaround: Open the left sidebar and select the Navigation module from the module list. This will open the module settings normally.
Carousel rendering in the Page Editor
Carousel modules may behave differently inside HubSpot’s Page Editor, particularly modules that use the Swiper library.
You may notice:
- Navigation dots do not appear for carousel items in the editor.
- The carousel returns to the first slide whenever an edit is made.
These issues are limited to the editing experience and do not affect the carousel’s normal behavior on the published page.
