We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information about users of our website (getscaffold.app) and our HubSpot Marketplace products.

1. Information We Collect

We do not directly collect personal information through our website unless you voluntarily provide it through a HubSpot form or by downloading Scaffold via the HubSpot Marketplace.

Information we may receive includes:

  • Your name, company, and email address when you download Scaffold Lite or Scaffold PRO

  • Analytics data automatically collected by HubSpot and Google Analytics (such as browser type, device, location, and time on page)

  • Cookies used for performance tracking and basic website functionality

We do not collect sensitive personal data or payment information directly.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we receive for:

  • Sending onboarding and setup instructions for Scaffold

  • Creating and managing your support portal login

  • Providing customer support and updates

  • Sending promotional emails about Scaffold webinars, new releases, and related offers

You can unsubscribe from promotional emails at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link in any email.

3. Cookies and Analytics

Our site uses cookies to improve performance and user experience. We also use Google Analytics and HubSpot tracking to gather anonymized insights on how users interact with our site.

Scaffold Studio Chrome Extension Privacy Notice

Effective date: August 19, 2026

This section applies specifically to the Scaffold Studio Chrome extension provided by Terrier Digital. It supplements the remainder of this Privacy Policy. If this section conflicts with a more general provision elsewhere in the policy, this section controls regarding Scaffold Studio.


What Scaffold Studio does

Scaffold Studio improves the editing experience for Scaffold Lite and Scaffold PRO themes inside supported HubSpot editors. It connects elements in the HubSpot preview window to their corresponding content, style, and theme settings and provides responsive preview controls.

To provide this functionality, Scaffold Studio operates within supported HubSpot page, blog, global-content, and theme editors.


Information processed locally

Scaffold Studio processes limited information locally within the user’s browser, including:

  • The current HubSpot editor URL and editor type.
  • The structure of the HubSpot editor and preview window.
  • Scaffold-specific HTML attributes and HubSpot field identifiers.
  • User interactions with mapped Scaffold elements and extension controls.
  • Whether Scaffold Studio is enabled or disabled.
  • The selected responsive-preview width.
  • A requested Theme Settings field path and timestamp when temporarily needed to complete navigation between the HubSpot content editor and Theme Editor.

This information is used only to provide Scaffold Studio’s field-navigation, style-navigation, Theme Settings navigation, and responsive-preview functionality.

Scaffold Studio does not retain or transmit the text, images, form values, credentials, or other content of the HubSpot pages being edited.


Local storage

Scaffold Studio uses Chrome’s local extension storage to save:

  • The extension’s enabled or disabled state.
  • The selected responsive-preview width.
  • A temporary Theme Settings navigation request when navigation must continue after HubSpot opens its Theme Editor.

The temporary navigation request is removed after navigation is completed or discarded when it is no longer valid. Other preferences remain stored locally until they are changed, cleared through Chrome, or the extension is removed.

This information is not synchronized through a Scaffold Studio account and is not sent to Terrier Digital.


Data collection and transmission

Scaffold Studio does not:

  • Transmit HubSpot content or editor information to Terrier Digital.
  • Send extension activity to external servers.
  • Use analytics, telemetry, tracking pixels, or advertising identifiers.
  • Collect HubSpot usernames, passwords, authentication cookies, or API credentials.
  • Sell, rent, share, or disclose user information to third parties.
  • Use information for advertising, profiling, creditworthiness, or unrelated purposes.
  • Execute remotely hosted code.

All extension processing occurs locally in the user’s browser within the supported HubSpot editor environment.


Permissions

Scaffold Studio requests only the permissions needed to provide its features:

  • Storage: Used to save the enabled preference, responsive-preview width, and temporary Theme Settings navigation information locally.
  • HubSpot editor access: Used to identify and interact with supported HubSpot editor controls.
  • HubSpot preview access: Used to recognize Scaffold theme elements and connect them with their corresponding HubSpot fields.

Scaffold Studio does not request access to websites outside the supported HubSpot editor and preview locations declared by the extension.


Third-party services

Scaffold Studio works within HubSpot and runs through Google Chrome. The use of HubSpot and Chrome remains subject to the respective privacy policies and terms provided by HubSpot and Google.

Scaffold Studio does not control HubSpot’s or Google’s independent collection, processing, or storage of information.


User choices and control

Users can disable Scaffold Studio at any time through the extension popup. Users can also remove the extension through Chrome’s extension settings.

Removing the extension deletes its locally stored extension data in accordance with Chrome’s standard extension-removal behavior.


Changes to this notice

Terrier Digital may update this notice if Scaffold Studio’s features or data practices change. Material changes will be reflected by updating this section and its effective date. Any new collection or transmission of information will be disclosed before that practice begins.
